Tsuyoshi (Ted) Tanaka learned Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu and Shinto Muso Ryu in Jikishin-Kai International/Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai under Carl Long sensei from 1999 to 2013.
As of 2014, Tanaka has resigned from KNBK and has returned all of his rank, title, and teaching license to KNBK.
Tsuyoshi Tanaka holds no rank/title/license in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu or Shinto Muso Ryu.
Tsuyoshi Tanaka is on the path of "Shugyo" (personal quest) for these arts and will share his experience for those who would walk the similar path.
